Footballers depend on coaches for support, advice, and motivation. Similarly, in life, young people need caring adults who set a positive example. By community role models — including professional football players — F4 provides young people with life coaches to admire.

Since learning is not a spectator sport, F4 educational programs use interactive, discovery-based teaching methods to not only increase knowledge but also to personalize the challenges of preventing HIV and AIDS. Respected, care-giving coaches are instrumental in helping young people protect themselves.
